An Emergency Preparedness(1) and Response(2) organization, with Green Beret Leadership and influence, empowering young people and adults to be materially impactful in times of crisis and trouble. A natural by-product of such an endeavor is the creation of Strong, Capable and Self-Reliant individuals of good Character, who, in being able to take care of themselves, have a vast capacity to help others. To become a NOWScout, an individual must pass a rigorous “Assessment” as NOWScouts will likely be in dangerous and potentially life-threatening situations/missions. Rigorous training for anticipated conditions and challenges is required with regular recertifications after initial certification in each skill/squad role.
